Pallion Action Group redeveloped this old derelict building and grounds into the thriving Community Hub it is today.
With the help of countless local organisations, companies and individuals we have turned a derelict building and grounds into a much loved community hub.
We will be working to help, assist, and guide all people of all ages and abilities to a better and more prosperous future.

About Us
From this derelict and heavily vandalised building and grounds we saw potential. This area was lacking a space for local people to come together, socially and officially. Teenagers had no where to go, adults would walk past an eyesore, residents had a view of graffiti and boarded up windows. Bleak to say the least, where was the community spirit going to come from?
Transformation
With funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, UKSPF, Sunderland City Coucil and Ballinger Charitable Trust. The transformation has been incredible. Local businesses have been extremely generous with resources and their time and expertise and we will be forever grateful on behalf of ourselves and the local people this building now serves.

Monday to Friday we have a huge variety of FREE fitness sessions for ALL ages and ALL abilities. From walking football to seated exercise to Hiit sessions and much more. Just come along to join in – easy!
52 Weeks a year we meet up to host ParkPlay, we meet, move and play. All ages, all abilities are welcomed. And it’s FREE! 10am till 12 noon
Need to brush up or get started with your Digital Skills? From getting online, making good choices online, maximising finances, using the cloud and everything else there is – if its Digital we can help.
Tuesdays & Thursday Mick runs his football coaching sessions – 5.15pm till 6pm. FREE just turn up!
Tuesdays & Thursdays GIRLS! come along if your aged Year 6 or above for a fabulous session – all about Girls getting along and having a great time 4.30pm till 5.30pm its FREE! just turn up
The Cafe

We have our spacious community cafe inside too, offering affordable and delicious food all day.
Just take a look at our menu, we pride ourselves on a warm friendly welcome every day!
If you want a refresh after a nice walk in the park, your lunch with friends or family, maybe just a drink after one of our exercise classes even!

Pallion Action Group is a registered Charity in the North east of England, Sunderland. We provide educational, recreational and social activities for the community including mentoring, advocacy, one to one support for community members, especially those most vulnerable. Volunteering opportunities to improve employability, after school clubs, holiday provision, job seeking assistance and guidance. We also have a welfare benefits and money advice project for all members of the community.
